After breakfast, you'll travel by private transfer to Akagera National Park, Rwanda’s only savannah reserve. Upon arrival, you'll enjoy lunch followed by an afternoon game drive, where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, buffalo, antelopes, and more. After a relaxed packed lunch surrounded by nature en route, you will continue into the heart of the forest for one of Nyungwe’s signature adventures, the canopy walk and zipline experience. Suspended high above the forest floor, the canopy bridge offers breathtaking panoramic views over the treetops, deep valleys, and mist-covered mountains, providing a unique bird’s-eye perspective of the rainforest. As you glide across the zipline, you'll feel the thrill of moving through the canopy while immersed in the sounds of nature, birds, and primates below—a highlight of your Nyungwe experience.
