Lions and Black Rhinos have been successfully reintroduced, joining the healthy populations of elephants, leopards, and buffaloes that roam the rolling plains.

A boat safari on Lake Ihema is a must-do experience, offering close encounters with massive pods of hippos and some of Africa’s largest crocodiles. For bird enthusiasts, the park is a paradise with over 480 species, including the prehistoric-looking Shoebill stork often found in the marshes.
