Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala in the morning and transfer you on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We will stop for coffee and photos at the Equator before continuing through villages surrounded by cultivated land until we reach the lush green tea estates. As we approach the escarpment, you will be treated to breathtaking views of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have lunch along the way or at the lodge, depending on the timing. After checking into the lodge, time permitting, you can take a walk to explore the nearby village and crater lake. In the evening, you can relax and enjoy the stunning views from the lodge.

Start your day with an early breakfast before heading out for a morning game safari at 7:00am in the park. During the safari, you can expect to see the famous Big Five, elephants, and other mammals such as giant forest hogs, bushbucks, kobs, hyenas and waterbucks.

In the afternoon, at around 3:00pm, prepare for a launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. During this cruise, you will be able to see large numbers of elephants, hippos, buffalos, and crocodiles. Additionally, you may spot various bird species, including the rare shoebill.

After the boat tour, you will enjoy a short evening game drive before being transferred back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After enjoying an early breakfast, depart for Kalinzu Forest at 6:00am for chimpanzee tracking. This is a unique opportunity to observe our closest relatives in their natural habitat as they play, swing from tree branches and compete for food.

Following the chimpanzee tracking, you will embark on an exciting road trip back to Kampala, with a stop for lunch at the Equator. You are expected to arrive late evening, and we will drop you off at your hotel.
