This is a 9-day safari exploring the wildlife wonders of Uganda, offering a great experience of the true African wilderness. It takes you to Kidepo Valley National Park. The major safari activities include wildlife viewing, nature walks, Boat trips, cultural walks, forest walks, excellent bird watching, Sipi Falls hikes, wildlife in Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth, and Lake Mburo National Park.
Our guide will pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Entebbe. You'll transfer to Sipi Falls through spectacular scenery. Sipi is one of Uganda's hidden gems. You'll have a stopover in Mbale for lunch. You'll proceed to the lodge. From your lodge, you’ll have breathtaking views of the falls as the Sipi River flows down from Mount Elgon.
This afternoon, you will have a guided Sipi Falls hike to the falls. You'll visit coffee plantations, giving you a chance to learn how coffee is processed with coffee tasting. You will drive to check in at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll have an early breakfast after driving for approximately six hours to Moroto Town in the northeast region of Uganda, where you’ll meet the Karamojong people. You'll continue to the foothills of Mount Moroto. You'll go for an authentic Karamojong cultural tour, experience their local livelihoods. You'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park, the park is located in the far north-eastern part of Uganda, taking about a 5-6 hour drive. The drive is breathtaking and offers incredible views of the countryside as you approach the Karamoja region. You will have lunch. Upon arrival, you'll enjoy a scenic drive to the lodge, viewing animals like elephants, buffalo, zebras, and several bird species.

You'll have an early morning game drive towards the Kidepo Valley in search of wildlife that includes zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, warthogs, ostriches, lions, leopards, and cheetahs among others. You'll also visit the hot springs of Kanangorok before you return to your lodge. You'll spend your evening in the Karamojong community, learn how they leave in their traditional lifestyle.

You'll enjoy breakfast at your lodge early in the morning before hitting the road for the most beautiful protected area in Uganda —Murchison Falls National Park. You will pass through the famous Kitgum Triangle and have a stopover in Gulu for lunch. You'll arrive at Murchison Falls in the evening for check-in at the lodge, visit the top of the falls, then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll enjoy early morning game drives on the plains of the park where you’ll have a chance to spot giraffe, spotted hyena, lion, leopard, buffalo, kob, and hartebeest. Then, you'll have a 3-hour launch cruise on the River Nile where you will spot several wildlife species along the banks, such as African elephants, hippos, Nile crocodiles, antelopes, monkeys, and water bird species. You'll ride towards the bottom of the falls. After visiting the top of the falls, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll transfer from Murchison Falls to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive is about 350 kilometers south to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The safari offers a look at rural Ugandan life as it travels across a variety of settings. You'll enjoy a picturesque drive through the park's diverse ecosystems as you approach, including grasslands and lakes formed by volcanic craters. You'll have a game drive that offers the chance to see a variety of animal species in their native environment.

Today, after your breakfast, you will set out for an early morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth Park. You will be spotting various wildlife species like waterbucks, lions, African elephants, hartebeests, Rothschild’s giraffes, antelopes, cape buffaloes, leopards, and warthogs, and also view different crater lakes. After the 3-hour drive, you will transfer back for lunch. Then, you will prepare for the afternoon 2-hour launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which has the highest concentration of hippos in the world. This comes along with several bird species and animals like Nile crocodiles, African elephants, and antelopes, among others. You'll have a game drive as you return to the lodge.

After your breakfast, you will embark on the road trip to Lake Mburo National Park, known for being the smallest but rich with wildlife. You will have a stopover for lunch. The drive will go through stunning scenery, farms, markets, and plantations. The park is a habitat for a large number of zebras, impalas, oribis, Cape buffalos, warthogs, and waterbucks, with over 332 bird species. Upon arrival at the park in the afternoon, you will head for a game drive.

After an early breakfast, you will embark on a morning walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park. You will get a chance to see various wildlife such as zebras, impalas, giraffes, elands, Cape buffalos, and a variety of tropical birds. You will check out of the hotel and be transferred to Entebbe International Airport as you bid farewell to Africa's Pearl. Along the route, you will make a stopover at the equator.
